Shri Prakash Chand Meena, is an IDSE Officer has assumed the appointment of DG (Pers) at E-in-C's Branch on 02 May 2025. Shri PC Meena did his BE in Civil Engineering from Engineering College Kota, Rajasthan University. The officer has expertise in planning, structural design and execution of varieties of projects meant for Defence Services.

Shri PC Meena, IDSE has traversed various significant roles in MES
throughout his illustrious career spread more than 34 years. Before joining to DG (Pers), he has served important assignments as ADG (P), Chennai, Chief Engineer (Navy), Mumbai, Chief Engineer (CEC) OFB, Kolkata. Commander Works Engineer at Ahmedabad, Garrison Engineer at Belgaum and New Delhi etc besides rendered service at various peace stations, showcasing his versatile expertise & experience at different sphere where of, emphasizing his commitment to national security and diplomacy. He has served more than 20 stations, spread across the country during his glorious career in last more than 34 years of service. 

Prior to taking over as DG, his tenure as Additional Director General at ADG (P) Chennai, the officer took control of all the infrastructure development expedited the progress of works and improved the budget demand despite short stint. During tenure as CE (Navy) Mumbai, number of High rise buildings project works completed, planned and started execution on ground. Project of (G+62) storey officers Md accn tendered and execution started on ground. That will be tallest structure in Govt sector in India.

Shri PC Meena, IDSE has a comprehensive and well-rounded technical experience through varied command and staff appointments tenanted during his distinguished and illustrious career in MES. With his wealth of experience and strong leadership qualities, he is set to lead the Military Engineers Service with unwavering dedication, executing construction works with utmost precision and upholding the standard arrangements of the Indian defence forces in service of the nation. He was awarded number of prestigious awards and commendations time to time for his dedicated & distinguished service.
