Charter of Duties

 The broader Charter of Duties of coord and pers Dte includes:­

  • Manpower plg of all ranks of the Corps of Engrs.
  • All personnel matters pertaining to officers, JCOs and OR of the Corps of Engineers.
  • Internal administration and coordination of E-in-C's Branch.
  • Induction of offrs into Corps of Engineers, Manpower plg and mgt of non-MES Civilian in Corps of Engineers.
  • Cadre review proposals in r/o Corps of Engineers Pers.
  • Coordination and implementation of Hindi as per "Rajbhasa Adhiniyam" for E-in-C Branch.
  • Issue trg Directive for MES Offrs and subordinates.
  • Coord sports and adventure activities in the Corps of Engrs.
  • Disciplinary cases against MES civilian Gazetted Officers both serving and retired, also for those subordinates whose disciplinary Authority is the E-in-C
  • Monitor prog of initiation of APARs of MES CGOs, Representations of MES CGOs against adverse remarks in APAR, Record keeping of APARs.
  • Issues pertaining to Automation requirements of the E-in-C's Branch.
  • Updation/maintenance of MES Website.
