Charter of Duties

ESP Dte deals with planning, provisioning holding and issue of Engr Plants and machinery of Engineer Origin and Spares to units MES including:-

• Progress procurement and provisioning of plants and stores with Min of Def and other ministries for defence works and combat preparedness.
• Management of Engineers Stores Depots.
• Disposal surplus/BER Ergineer Stores, Plants and machinery.
• Regularisation of losses and irregularities and audit abjections in respect of all stores, except in-fructuous expenditure due to abandonment of projects.
• Deals with matters connected with draft audit paras and PAC question on stores and regularization of losses in Engineer Units.
• Manage engineers stores budget including MES, T&P and vehicles
